The Panda Sharpens His Fangs For Snapper

Have you ever prepared vigorously for a biology exam, only to arrive at the testing facility and discover that you would instead be graded on your ability to do a triple kickflip?

That’s exactly what happened to Willian ‘Panda’ Cardoso this week, who after taking the time to visit a Central American pointbreak in preparation for Snapper, realized he would instead face Dbah at the 2019 Quik Pro Tweed Coast. 

And Big Wil went fucking looney out there too – carving scallops off the top and bottom of waves, delivering the type of power that, even in the age of the aerial, judges tend to reward.

However these same lines cannot be drawn at Dbah. If he wants to succeed, Panda will have to tighten up his act while simultaneously loosening the fins.
