The Greatest Intro Sequence In A Modern Surf Film, Explained

Wade Goodall and Shane Fletcher’s Pentacoastal came out in May, but we find ourselves being drawn back to it more and more. This is an uncommon occurrence in the year of our virus 2020. 

Nowadays, surf clips are all churn and burn. It’s in one app and out the other. Rarely do we absorb all of the sights and sounds before scrolling to the next. And almost never do we revisit yesterday’s content. But a truly masterful surf film has the power to bring us back for more. That’s Pentacoastal.
