Completely unprompted, Matt Meola just sent us the best Stab High hype video to date. 

Naturally it includes Matt surfing the Waco pool with great ferocity and skill. but the main feature is a parody cover of Billy Ray Cyrus x Lil Nas X’s #1 country-rap single, “Old Town Road”.

In the context of surfer-produced cover music, this is shockingly good, no? And as far as country music and surfing go, surely no one’s done it better.

We should note that Matt’s sister, Lily Meola, is a highly skilled singer/songwriter in her own right. Matt’s rhythm, vocals, and production skills didn’t come from nowhere.
