Patty Gudang Can’t Stop Smiling (Or Ripping)

Patrick Gudauskas has got such a radiant smile that it’s sometimes easy to forget how damn well he surfs. 

And there’s no reason for him not to bear those pearly whites on the regular either, as he’s pretty much crafted himself the dream lifestyle. He’s ticked the ‘CT box, so there’s no monkey on the back there, and has carved himself a desirable niche as a travelling Vans/good times ambassador, which is fine work, if you can get it. A few things to note re: the above clip is how well ‘Cissy Strut’ and surfing combine. How fine a good old fashioned shortboard (like the CI Fever) looks in punchy Australian beachbreaks. And, as corny as it sounds, how humble and deserving Patty G seems in regards to his dreamy vocation. Maybe nice guys don’t finish last.
