Why Does Brazil Get Such A Bad Rap For Wave Quality?
From what we can tell, it’s constantly pumping. Or at least better than California…
Despite a canceled Tour, Yago Dora and the rest of Brazil have been fairing just fine since the world ground to halt.
By most (digital) accounts, the waves in the acai nation have been outrageously fun—not quite like Australia, but certainly better than Caifornia.
Which raises the question: why does Brazil always get such a bad rap when it comes to wave quality? The Rio event has properly pumped since it moved to Saq-town, the Maresias crew always seem to be scoring, and don’t even get us started on Fernando de Noronha.
Just more Anglo bigotry, we suppose!
