Mason Ho Has A Very Dangerous Fetish

Is nobody else gonna say it? Fine, I’ll do it. Mason Ho has a rock fetish.

It’s the only explanation. Big rocks, small rocks, basically anything he can get a surfboard near. Once again, Mason and his rock-loving companion Sheldon Pashion are playing chicken with the protruding Hawaiian reefs. These guys live for surfing in the most fucked places. Seriously, 99.9% of surfers would leave this break with a buckled board and a fractured skull. For the folks over at Ho and Pringle productions, it’s just another day at the beach.

Their layout for videos is simple yet compelling. Roll the clips, add some Hendrix, and post to Youtube. No product placement, no ads, no gimmicks. Mason and Sheldon’s ability to maneuver over dry reefs is entertainment enough, and I’m pretty sure Ho’s wave at 1:26 was computer generated. I don’t know if their dangerous dances with coral heads and sea urchins are out of confidence or negligence, but I can state with certainty that Mason’s Google search history is littered with pictures of big girthy rocks.
