Koa Rothman And Friends Fight The Overwhelming Flatness On Oahu

For the months between December and March, when the North Pacific is at its liveliest, waves on Oahu’s North Shore rarely fall below four feet. 

But around April the North Pacific loses its wintery gales, causing the seas to fall flat and transforming the once robust North Shore into a crowdless mess of sand and boredom. For North Shore locals like Koa Rothman and John and Nathan Florence, this means finding alternative forms of fun.
