Cooper Chapman, Here Comes the Sun

Narrabeen’s Cooper Chapman latest release features a trip to Indonesia and some very solid surfing. It’s been a while since we’ve heard from the almost-20-year-old Coops, who lit up the Boost Air Show back in 2010 (runner up to Owen Wright). What we like about this edit is the first wave. The forgotten art of paddling sets a real good tempo! And, CC’s clean lines. Cooper had the unfortunate experience of being on the original Hurley team before the Nike surf team was moved over to )( at the back end of 2012. Now with easily the best team in the biz, and with no major casualties in the past 12 or so months, each member is surfing for their lives. A roster this big certainly can’t last forever and no one knows this more than the riders. We’ve never seen such a team of overachievers and this edit will surely keep CC in the conversation.
