Chippa Wilson Is Returning To Texas For Brews, Brisket And A Surf Contest

And now, our weekly announcement that Stab High is, in fact, back on!

We couldn’t host this event sans the aerial artist formerly known as Whippy Chilson. He has some history in Waco, the first time he went to the pool he showed up and learned his boards had fallen off the roof of his crew’s rental van somewhere between the Austin Airport and BSR Cablepark (and Surf Resort!). After a collaborative effort to get Chip is his boards back, he ended up having to borrow Nate Tyler’s. Today, if still intact, the boards are likely being skurfed somewhere in the Big Bad State.

A few months later he joined us in Waco. Mr. Wilson spent some time in the commentator booth and finished second in the event behind Noa Deane with a brilliant display of technical surfing done above the lip.

Stab High is back in Texas on June 29.
