An Edit Called “Weep” With A Surfer Named Jamie Krups

Allow us to introduce Jamie Krups and his latest online entry, “Weep.” Jamie’s a 20-year old Hurley rider who currently resides in Manly, Sydney.

“I’m originally from Germany, my family moved over to the beachside around 15 years ago. Since then I’ve been growing up surfing with friends and meeting a few interesting people along the way.” Jamie tells Stab.

We were initially certain the title, ‘Weep’, was to represent how we’re feeling after seeing Jamie surf significantly better spots than the Aus summer is currently serving up. Unfortunately for young Jamie, this isn’t quite the case.

“I had a bad ankle injury in April which was a really interesting experience and really got me into the whole photography thing. Now, sans-injury, I’m just trying to surf as much as I can and work towards putting out (hopefully) interesting videos.”

“Weep” was shot over the past year through the Ments, Indo and the East Coast of Aus, cut to an 80’s punk track. More importantly it features Jamie throwing punts and smacking lips better than most. But, instead of reading me ramble on about it, plug in your headphones, tell your boss to fuck off and watch the clip above!
