What Kind Of Freaky Shit Would You Do For $10,000?

Just because a headline is provocative, doesn’t make it clickbait.

This season, BSR Surf Resort in Waco is offering ten thousand dollars ($10,000) to the man, woman, or child who can land the most fucked up punt on their new ‘Freak Peak’ setting. They’re also offering $5k for the best “fail”.

If you recently dipped the top half of your head into a bucket of wet cement, which then dried, transforming into an even-more-cumbersome version of a Buckingham guard’s hat, covering both your eyes and ears so that life became something of an existential vacuum, leaving you woefully unaware that a wave setting called the ‘Freak Peak’ was recently established in Waco, Texas, and that its natural form propels surfers into the air with such ferocity that they tend to spasm mid-flight, I beg that you allow me one application of a sledgehammer, with enough force to shatter the concrete prison of your senses without compromising the capacity of your mind.

Because you really need to see this.

As seen above, Shane Borland was reportedly the first to ride away from the Freak, with what can only be described as an accidental benihana-slob.

Since then, there have been many attempts and even some completions on the Freak Peak, like these from Dyl Graves, Pat Schmidt, Ima Devault, and Jackson Butler of team Vans.

We expect something even bigger, scarier, and more technical to win the grand prize though.

Who knows, maybe we’ll even get the crazy bitch going at this year’s Stab High.

So, whether you’re going for the 5 or 10 thou, the name of the game is sending it. You in?
