Sydney, You’ve Been Warned: Honest Ale And Stab Are Putting On A Thing This Saturday
Bands, beer and a blow-out weekend awaits.
Taj Burrow, Jay Davies and Dino Adrian are bringing their tasty beverage circus out east (again!).
Come Saturday afternoon they’ll have nudged out the tourists and completely overrun the Bondi Bucket List with two live bands, a handful of DJs and more Honest Ale than you could possibly digest in an afternoon sitting (though worth the challenge!).
The two acts billed are Mini Skirt and Tupperware Party, a dose of punk and rocker-chick chic respectively and the DJs are known to Stab for keeping heads bobbing for extended periods.
If you haven’t yet tasted the new drop from the west, think flavoursome, a hint of fruit, without the bloat. When it was first released Taj described the beer to Stab as “easy to put away in big numbers, but tastes really good as well.” Having the privilege of sampling a few cases of the tins, we couldn’t have reviewed it better if we tried.
Optimistic swell charts are the only thing that could possibly override plans of this calibre.
Let’s consult them, shall we?
Low period, moderate winds tending onshore throughout the day, mostly sunny (see: crowded) – guess we’ll be drinking.
It all kicks off around 3pm. Line the stomach, drink plenty of water and remove any obligations you might have on Sunday.
