#stabvolcommotion Round 1
Entries into the #stabvolcommotion stop motion competition are coming in thick and fast. Here we see our first weekly winner of a Volcom pack from @gorthonthedestroyer. It sure ticks all the boxes! Stop motion’s simple in theory, but it sure is time consuming! Just ask our judge Ozzie Wright about his clip that kickstarted proceedings: “I was having a bit of a technology meltdown. I wrote off my car, broke my bass amp and my bass guitar, and then my iphone. The week before I went through two laptops, and then I couldn’t get my Wacom board (doodle pad connected to the computer) to work. I spent 2 hours on the phone with the helpline trying to get it happening, but to no avail. So, I made this monster called the Baby-eating Jackeroo (he’s called that because I made him out of my jacket sleeping bag.)” If that’s not an advert for triumph over adversity then I don’t know what is. Oz even wrote you a (slam!) poem, of sorts: Good luck contestants start your brain engines revving, Ride the rainbow through the wild oceans of the #stabvolcommotion stop motion commotion, Making stuff is so much fun there are no losers, (I will be accepting bribes of course) Hey you the rocksteady crew, the baby-eating Jackaroo is gonna come for you! Terms, conditions, and assets here.
