Kelly Slater Is Live On The Joe Rogan Podcast
The Champ opens up on surfing, injuries, jiu jitsu, and many other topics on the world’s most famous podcast.
Few are the people in this world who Kelly Slater genuinely reveres, but Joe Rogan appears to be one of them.
Rogan, for those who don’t know, is what most would call a famous “personality”.
He started as a comedian, made his way onto TV and movies, took a commentating job on the UFC, and now hosts the world-famous podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience.
Rogan is appreciated for his candor and frankness, which is delivered in a way that isn’t overtly disrespectful like, say, the approach of America’s sitting President.
Slater is a big fan of Rogan’s, proven by the fact that just three weeks ago, he reposted Rogan’s plea for his fans to partake in “Sober October”, which is exactly what it sounds like.
At the start of the podcast, which is still live as we speak (and playing above), Rogan revealed that he and Slater had been “trying to do this for years”. Seeing as how Slater’s schedule is one of the most hectic known to man, with Rogan’s not far behind, it’s no surprise that it took them a while to connect.
Nevertheless, here they are. Click above to hear Slater’s thoughts on just about everything.
