After seven events and much groveling, 10 men and 5 women will officially be CT athletes in 2023

As you may know, the world circuit of average waves, known as the Challenger Series, isn’t just for our entertainment. The CS decides who will fill the Championship Tour spots which were left empty by the victims of the mid-year cut.

After seven events and infinite cutbacks, 10 men and 5 women have qualified this year. Their spots were solidified at the Haleiwa Challenger, a fitting finale in which Michael Rodrigues and Sophie McCuloch made last minute jumps into qualification (full event breakdown here.)
