We’re Dane Reynolds fan boys.

And we’re not shy about it, either. His most recent project, ‘Fried,’ was his spin on an Electric Acid Microdose. While shooting Surf100 Mexico, we pulled Dane to the side and asked him to ride a few boards that were taking up precious office space.

In the 15-minute short film, Dane rides a Channel Islands’ Fishbeard and Bonzer, the Timmy Patterson and Peter Schroff boards from Noa Deane’s E.A.S.T, and a “big clunker” from Simon Jones.

This week, Mikey and Stace take to the podcast to analyze Dane’s take on the alternative surfboard space and his refusal to the board call the shots.
