There are times where wind and swell come together in vicious matrimony. A cycle of the senses, something about nature, foam and fins that slips into a crystal blue paragon. From far it looks appealing, but Pipeline on Sunday looked anything but to the average and above average surfer. A day that sent Evan Geiselman to the hospital also sent many a-mad men firing out of tunnels in fire hose fashion. The next two days saw a drop in swell and holding conditions. It was fun, rippable and the world’s best have been putting on what some may refer to as a show. “What a week to be on North Shore,” lensman Laserwolf tells Stab. “We’ve had such a variety of surf paired with really good winds. Rippable Rocky Point, kegging Pipeline and the outer reefs even showed their fangs for a hot minute.”
