A lucky unknown gets one away from the pack and lines up for the shooting gallery at Off The Wall. This shot, taken by Damea Dorsey yesterday, was during a building swell that had Pipe Masters contest directors wetting themselves with excitement. The swell, though admittedly anti-climactic, is the first of any decency that the North Shore’s seen in a while. It was at least enough to handle a solid morning of competition at Pipe. But will it stick around? Forecasts say that it’ll continue to fade through the rest of the week, so we’ll just have to wait and see.
