Taj Burrow, Mentawai warm-up in WA

After 15 years at the forefront of progressive surfing, Taj Burrow still got it. He was recently gifted a spot on a Mentawai’s trip for Kai Neville new film, Dear Suburbia, to surf alongside Kolohe Andino, Evan Geiselman, Dane Reynolds and Jack Freestone. Cinematographer Rick Rifici and Kai himself are also on the boat. Life’s pretty good for TB right about now – after Bells, Taj hit WA for a stint (where Shane Dawson captured this tail-blow during a freesurf), before heading to Indo where he’s been immersed in the best that the Ment’s have to offer. In a text to Stab, Taj wrote: “Wow, what an action packed trip! We scored such mental waves. I broke all of my 7 boards and we have 2 days left. I am also finding it hard to walk, we’ve going mad with 8 hr sessions.”
