Pat Gudauskas, cut-down at Lower Trestles, CA

Check out Patty Gudauskas here, the only of the three Gudang bros currently on the Dream Tour, right now in his sophomore year on that tour, the middle of those bros in age, an archetypal Californian, featured on Stab‘s newest Style cover, issue #52, the kinda dude who, when he was in danger of falling below the mid-year cutoff last year, nailed a rodeo at Teahupoo to hang on. He also calls Lower Trestles his home break. And knows the place damn well. He knows where to flare and he knows where to cut-down (like y’see here). With the Hurley Pro kicking off there in, like, two days’ time, Pat’s one of many pros you’ll see warming up there until go-time. But, being that he’s one of only two guys on tour who’re Trestles locals (the other being Brett Simpson), d’you reckon he gets a few more waves that the rest of the 34?
