Noa Deane jumps, Chippa Wilson knifes, Cabarita, NSW
Here’s a perfect slice of back Caba swagger. It’s Chippa Wilson, King of Cabarita, knifing a left barrel, while Noa Deane swings out of the lip on the righthand corner of the same wave. Here’s a perfect slice of back Caba swagger. It’s Chippa Wilson, King of Cabarita, knifing a left barrel, while Noa Deane swings out of the lip on the righthand corner of the same wave. In the increasingly-overpopulated sport we all know and love, it’s rather crucial that we learn to share, and more importantly, waste nothing. Ain’t that a commentary on the larger game of life, too!
Chippa and Noa were jamming with Jay Davies and Beau Foster this day. “Jay surfed really well for being a man twice the size of the waves,” says Lugo, our lensman in this instance. “The next wave after this photo Chippa and Noa both caught the same wave again, Chippa going left at Noa (going right). The ever polite Chippa motioned to Noa to hit the section, Noa declined and Chippa pulled a sick full rote, stomping it and continuing on to high five Noa while they both still rode the wave. It was the clip of the day. Earlier that morning Chippa and local friends had a “smallish” six-foot shark hanging out below them. No one seemed phased… Just another day in Oz!”
