Noa Deane adds heightened atmospherics to dusk, WA
“He went up to the Ozone and came down with snow in his hair,” the man behind the lens, Peter Boskovich, tells Stab of this petrol price air (very high!). “This was at North Point late one afternoon. Noa was trying different grabs, going harder then anyone else. When I was shooting that photo I was like, ‘Oh my god! Please be sharp.’ It was so high, I was more excited looking at the air than concentrating on getting the shot. When I viewed it in the finder, I freaked out on how high and tweaked he was. I love getting that sort of photo, I froth on that stuff.” So here, Noa shoots to the heavens as a bystander peaks from the shoulder. All beneath a grey evening sky that wonders how a man could come so close sans jet fuel.
