Movement in the key of minus eight, New Jersey, US
This is what the south of New Jersey looked like recently. Minus eight degrees, a foot of snow on the ground and pumping waves. “Sam Hammer, Tommy Ihnken, Pat Schimdt and I took a little trip down South,” says photographer in this instance, Ryan Mack. “The waves weren’t all time but it was still pumping. A little too much north in the swell and wind for home and this place, but definitely some gems. Pat and Tommy started out with back to back drainers as I was walking up the beach, but the wind switched pretty fast and kinda ruined the session.” Not before the team got some kicks, though.
