Mitch Coleborn gots the power. He is a sadist when it comes to surfing. You can’t even imagine how much fun he’s having, punishing this end section in Hawaii. “What an animal Coleborn is in the water,” says Ryan Miller, who captured this moment of fury. “He’s so passionate and critical with every wave. He never kicks out looking too cool, like he’s on a Sunday stroll. After every wave he either looks like he is fired up to race out there and smash another, or if he had a shit wave, he looks like he wants to eat his surfboard. He was having a blast on this little Chili. He’d been wanting to ride it in some funky little lefts and boy, did he get his wish.”
