Miguel Tudela and the Pipeline today, Hawaii
“Pipe was a complete mess most of the day with a lot of wind, but a little rain shower came though around 1pm and cleaned things up,” says photographer Laserwolf of the scene at Pipeline today. “I tried to shoot fisheye, but with the direction and size, it was all over the place and things had gotten stormy again, so I ran home and grabbed my long lens to shoot from the channel. Good ones were rare but the size dropped a bit and things cleaned up just before dark. I was kinda bummed I didn’t have my fisheye until I got home and saw this one of Miguel. I’ve surfed some big days at the outer reefs with him and let me tell ya, this kid is legit, an absolute beast in the water.”
