Mick Fanning fresh-squeezes citrus at D’bah, NSW
“This was just another one of those mornings where I opened my eyes pumped for some dawn light photos and looked out over Surfer’s Paradise beach, but all I could see was endless grey,” says Gold Coast photographer Simon Muirhead. “Eyes opened again a few hours later and cruised to D’bah, not expecting anything. But I knew something was up when I saw two of those Red 4k cameras with big lenses hanging off them. I ended up catching the tail end of a Fanning and Crews session.” And, here’s a moment from Mick’s session. Yeah, it’s a small wave, but that form is without flaw. You like D’bah? More on that, here.
