And here’s Mr Mick Fanning, current world number one and totally maybe on the cusp of winning another world title, drifting over Duranbah during one of the two daily sessions he’s been doing at home (totalling 30 minutes to an hour each). Mick lands in Hawaii soon for the triple crown and, more importantly, Pipeline, where he will fend off the advances of one Kelly Slater. In a recent interview with Stab, Mick said his dream scenario for Pipe would be to “meet Kelly in the final and beat him.” Competitive surfing fans around the world collectively agree.
