Mason Ho, Off The Wall, Hawaii
Typically, the purpose of a photo is to direct the viewer’s attention to one particular subject, and the surrounding features are included to pull you into the scene and draw your eye to the main point of interest. But despite Mason Ho doing his very best to own the scene with this proper lip dusting at Off The Wall, you would be forgiven if your eyes did a bit of… wandering. “It’s a ghost town here on the North Shore as of late but we’re still getting surf and it’s almost June,” says our lensman Laserwolf. “The beaches are huge so it’s pretty backwashy everywhere. Off The Wall had a few gems though and we had a fun little crew with Mason, Tom Dosland, Baron Mamiya and Noah Beschen.”
