Luke Gordon all wrapped up in Hawaiian blue

The Rip Curl groms are running amuck on the North Shore. Some sort of quasi-controlled chaos is taking place as El Niño keeps pumping through the island. Mr Gordon’s 16 and hails from South Carolina. Here he trades the Atlantic chill for the warm Pacific juice and packs some closeouts at the Ehukai Beach Park, the same sandbar JJF ripped through a few days back. When Luke was asked if he’d rather have good style and surf decent or bad style and surf great he responded: “I’d rather have bad style and surf great, because great is better than good and if you ain’t first you’re last.” It’s hard to argue with that logic…
