Kolohe Andino and vivid backhand werk at Lowers, CA
This morning, Kolohe Andino clocked the day’s highest combined total at the Hurley Pro, Trestles. The remainder of round two was short and sweet, with Brother facing Matt Wilkinson in the final heat of the day and favouring the lefts to hammer out some excellent moments. One of which, despite being deemed incomplete (he wound the windows up in the foam after landing), was this backside spin, surprisingly fast with speed miked out of a very small runner. And, even though you can’t see it here, right in Wilko’s face. Kolohe faces Taj tomorrow, which will be quite the match-up and pretty hard to pick. We shall just have to see…
