Josh Kerr, SUP and oop, Tahiti
Josh Kerr had eight boards when he swooped into Tahiti for the Billabong Pro, Tahiti. But, a local thief removed three boards from Josh’s lodgings last night. So now, Josh totally saves on baggage! But it ain’t a gas. Not one little bit. There are brighter days to reflect on, though. Like the moment you see here, captured by Domenic Mosqueira during the lay day before finals day. We find Mr Kerr looping with a heelside grab at a less-famous reef than Teahupoo, while a man on an awful alternative water craft watches on. The following day, Josh’d go on to scoop a fifth, with his run being ended by Mick Fanning in a rather wave-starved heat. He’s now seventh in the world, having moved up two spots. And next we shall have the pleasure of enjoying Josh, one of the tour’s best aerialists, at Lowers, one of the tour’s best air spots.
