Jordy Smith’s still waiting to surf his round three heat at the Rip Curl Search Pro (yesterday only ran up to heat 10, and Jordy’s in heat 12 against Patty Gudang), so with a lay-day called he and his buddies decided to take a walk around the city. “Bru, why are there so many hills around this joint?” he asked his filmer, Blake Kueny, who had no answer so shot this photo. And Jordy blinked! How great is that? See, it can happen to anyone! And, after the increased presence of slim denim, low necklines and weird hats, we love that Jordy’s still running a backwards flex-fit, relaxed slacks and Nike runners. Kid has his own swagger and he’s keeping it real.
