Yes, this is John John Florence. And yes, this is the only manoeuvre he did on this wave in his round one heat at the Quiksilver Pro, Snapper Rocks today. Which is why it wasn’t in his two scoring waves and why, if you’re like a lot of people are, you’ll have skipped to his two scoring rides in the Heats On Demand and will have probably missed this. But it should not be missed. While John didn’t win his heat and will now surf round two, flavour like this is why his match up against Gabs Medina was such a good one.
