Yes, this is John John Florence filming Jack Robinson at The Box in Western Australia today. With a layday called at the Drug Aware Pro, Margaret River, the four semifinalists were left killing time ’til the event wraps. You’ve probably noticed John isn’t using a GoPro. That’s his own RED Dragon camera he’s holding. John John’s interpretation of chill is very different to most other people’s. When you’d think he’d be keeping it relaxed in wait for his semifinal when competition resumes, he’s instead pulling into one of WA’s heaviest waves with a very fucking expensive (and kinda weighty) camera, behind Master Robinson.
