Now, there ain’t many kids who make an impression like Hawaiian John Florence did in his rookie year. All that tube, swerve and air panache jacked him into the top three most visible surfers in the world, along with Dane Reynolds and Kelly Slater. He’s on the cusp of signing surfing’s biggest ever contract, with whom we still don’t know, and the tour is about to climax in his backyard, where he won the Vans Triple Crown last year.
