Looking at the main shot of Jack Freestone here, you’d never think this was a make. You’d never even think he got close. But then, kid wasn’t world junior champion for nothing. This sequence is a little older than we usually run in Full Frames (by older I mean just before the Quik Pro, Gold Coast… what can I say – the internet moves fast.) As it were, the Full Frames inbox was a little too full when this phenomenal sequence of Jack landed, and slipped through ze cracks. Unfortunate, no?
A visit to the office from Ryan Miller, who clicked-off these shots, served as a good reminder of the sequence’s existence. He was grateful for being put in touch with Jack, and said the 18-year-old was killer to work with. With a subject that pulls flare like this, it’d be hard not to be thrilled.
