Craig Anderson and Ryan Callinan, Syncronised air-revs, Dixon Park, Australia

"I'm coming with you," said Craig Anderson to Ryan Callinan as he took-off on this wave at Dixon Park, Newcastle (the town where both the boys are from). The quote was in impersonation of fellow-Novocastrian Matt Hoy, who says the line and joins in on waves, often. It was Ryan's wave, but Craig paddled in behind him so as not to ruin Ryan's open face.

Craig and Ryan both threw air-revs at the same time, Ryan with a slob and Craig hands-free, spun simultaneously and landed at the same time. "It was weird," says filmer Jay Grant, who shoot the footage this frame grab was taken from. "But one of the coolest things I've seen in a long time." Sure, the wave's tiny, but isn't it a great moment? Imagine this on a four-five wave?
