Conner Coffin is among a large amount of swingers currently occupying Trestles for the Nike Lowers Pro. Though he’s not in the event anymore, Conner’s been taking the place apart. Yesterday he and Jimmy Wilson rode a coupla bikes down to the peak for a few waves and, when he managed to pick one off from the overwhelming pack, he lay down this swerve – a play he knows intimately. Conner, y’see, is a lover of rail surfing. During the Red Bull Minor Threat boat trip last year, he started prepping to paddle out at a windless Lance’s Right, that the other boat occupants had turned their noses up at. “I don’t need wind,” he said.
