Beau Foster, Grav’s Corner, Central Coast
Ain’t it sweet when that little wedge you’ve been waiting for finally turns on? Beau Foster, his brother Nathan (who’s also Beau’s personal filmer) and photog Josh Househam’ve all tasted the sweetness. Grav’s is a cheeky lil’ northern corner, somewhere in-between Lighthouse and Soldier’s beaches on the Central Coast of Australia. The boys’d been waiting for it to turn on and when it did, they hit it hard. There was one lil’ mishap of the session, though: Beau said he got a left down the beach, did one of the best turns he’s ever done and both Josh and Nathan missed it. Beau’s just made the jump onto SUPERbrand surfboards. SUPERbrand is Ry Craike, Dion Agius and Clay Marzo’s company, with signature models from all three goofy-footers and graphics by Tony Larson. For nine years, Tony was designer and art director at Girl Skateboards, and has since brought a new eye to the surf game. Looks as though the boards are going well for Beau.
