Wave number one of Anthony Walsh’s Pipe session. That’s what you’re looking at here, shot by Laserwolf. While this hovers on the delicate line of ruin (a coupla milliseconds later and the lens’d be totally submerged!), the beauty is there. “The forecast was calling for rubbish this morning so it wasn’t too crowded when I was shooting,” says Laserwolf. “Pretty much just the aloha crew out there. Mason and Mike Ho, John John (Florence), Koa Rothman, Flynn (Novak) and a few others. Full ‘Team Nice Guy’ (laughs). As the forecast predicted, good ones were far and few between. I swam out with Walshy and this was his first wave. The guy is so comfortable and stylin’ in the tube.” Ain’t he just? Look at those arms! Such calm!
