Oscar Langburne’s Love Affair With A Two-Finned Christenson

General rule of thumb: As one grows older their palate for new flavors expands.

While one would normally say this in reference to food, it’s equally as applicable (if not more so) to surfboards. After what was a long and fruitful relationship with Australia’s Haydenshapes, Oscar Langburne has branched out, spending the last three months sampling boards from Tokoro, Channel Islands and (most fittingly, in our opinion) San Diego’s Chris Christensen.

We love single session edits, and this day Oscar Spent on a Christensen ‘Lane Splitter’ is as good an ad for an alternative, flat-rockered twinny as you’re gonna get. I say that literally as Christensen has already transformed the web page for the Lane Splitter into an ode to Oscar’s off-the-rack love affair.
