Meet The Hulk

Remember that old chestnut, “you’re the average of the people you surround yourself with.” 

Well, I think it’s true. 

Reef Heazlewood is mostly a well-mannered young man who would swoon your mother with his manners and table-etiquette and be asked around the following weekend. But as Stab Highway progressed, we saw a very different side of Reef. 

One that might make your mother think twice about extending the offer.

Far from the soft cadence of your average church choir boy, Reef’s caustic rendition of Tom Chochrane’s ‘Life is a Highway’ was enough to make ears bleed. And that haircut, ‘the side mohawk’, why twas’ enough to constitute a surf sin. 

By night Reef dutifully reads his bible, by day, he stuns mullets with his incredible surfing. Stunning enough to stun Julian Wilson at 2019 Quik Pro, and Ryan Callinan at the Rottnest event in 21’.   

We thoroughly enjoyed meeting all sides of Reef including his alter-ego ‘The Hulk’, who enjoys lifting heavy things, stomping around, and yelling. As well as the more familiar side of Reef, a charming and polite young gentleman.
