Drag-Hard: An Absurdist Surf Skate Film Featuring Harry Bryant, Delirium & A Bedful Of Sand
“It’s a confusing feeling.”
Two worlds collide.
Passport is an online shop founded by Sydney skater, Trent Evans. Passport stock a range of products from clothing to hardware with a graphic-heavy aesthetic that has a quintessentially cool grungy look and feel about them.
Drag Board Co is a soft board company founded in Wollongong’s Industrial estate with involvement from Chippa Wilson, Craig Anderson, Creed Mctaggart, Harry Bryant, and Wade Goodall. Over the years, Drag has made a name for themselves producing fringe, offbeat, surf clips reflecting an honest culture of Australian larrikinism and authenticity.
Now, the two brands have come together to make a baby.
Drag Hard is an eight-minute clip featuring Haz Bryant acid-dropping Town Hall train station, delirium, wetness, wallies, and hard-dragging at heavy South Coast slabs.
In case the absurdity buries the lead slightly, we’ll clarify what they’re promoting: a DRAG skateboard and a PASS~PORT softie, and a bunch more merch and accessories.
According to Trent, “After a few waves, 2 bowls of hot chips, & 8 mid-strength beers at Wombara Bowls Club, Josh, myself (Passport), and Dave Fox and Thomas ‘Lobster Cooked’ Robinson (Drag) came to a decision. “Yes, yes we should make a DRAG skateboard & a PASS~PORT softie.”
A-grade viewing.
