AirCon Osborne Joins Epokhe
The Israeli-American ‘international floater contest’ organiser adds to a stellar roster.
Earlier in the year CT surfers Jordy Smith, Kolohe Andino and Connor O’Leary were dropped by their eyewear sponsors.
At Margaret River all three surfers were spotted donning Epokhes – the surfer-owned company started by Kai Neville, Dion Agius and Mitch Coleborn that rosters the likes of Shaun Manners, Jaleesa Vincent, Creed McTaggart, Craig Anderson, Dakoda Walters, Jack Freestone, Austyn Gillette, Evan Mock and more.

Ventura resident Eithan ‘Air-con’ Osborne is the latest to ink a deal with the eyewear company.
After finishing 16th on last years Challenger Series, a bees-dick shy of CT qualification, the 23-year-old Israeli-American — responsible for maybe the biggest air rev ever landed (see: Interlusion by Mikey Mallalieu) and one of the biggest Backdoor pits in the Vans Pipe Masters (hung to the bone), currently sits at 32nd spot on the CS with three events remaining.

Unlike most hungry win or cry CS competitors, he has done so whilst maintaining a healthy balance of fun, degeneracy and filming for upcoming projects. Rumor has it he blew Nathan Florence away with his approach to surfing a heavy right in remote South Oz, strike-missioning after his 9th place finish in North Narrabeen.
On the side ‘Aircon’ also announced a highly-anticipated ‘international floater contest’, beer in hand, only hours before his Rd 64 heat in Ballito. “I have been waiting for this my entire life,” commented Ronnie Blakey. Strangely enough he didn’t make his heat.
Here’s Aircon’s welcome to team.
