We’ve missed you, Dear Bruce…
Bruce Irons spent over a month down in Mex this year with ol pal Nathan Fletcher. Besides a few highlight waves at Pipe in the Backdoor Shootout, we haven’t seen much of Bruce this year (or for the past few years, for that matter). He has worked on some big Stab shoots (the blindfold, the flare) but he’s not done a lot of time in the ocean. This is the most surf footage we’ve seen of him since a Taylor Steele film way back when. This clip is raw but shows where he’s got the most razzle dazzle: in overhead tunnels. There are some waves of Nathan in here, too. Look for the wild cave he falls from as he exits.

@Juan de los angeles , gee how did you figure that out DICKHEAD Bruce is riding a 5’0 Quad you moron. If you even surf you would know its not possible to paddle into those size waves and make a drop …. Maybe the 3 skis buzzing gave it away as well Fucking idiot !!

Bruce did paddle a few days when it got smaller, that blue board was about 4’10 from memory and the Stretch orange quad about 5’7. So great to be out in the water watching him, crazy to see him just down there surfing without film crew and charging
