US Open Live!

Posted 31 Jul 2012, by STABmag

It’s game on at Huntington for the US Open. Fluorescent youth are out in force in the event, plying twirly birds in the small conditions. Conner Coffin radioed in following his loss to Gabriel Medina and Granger Larsen to give us a surf report: “It’s actually pretty fun out there, there are just not that many waves coming through.”

Meanwhile, Brazilian grom, Felipe (Holy!) Toledo has racked up the day’s highest score so far with a 9.40 for a mildly inverted air reverse, and a combined total of 17.9o out of 20.

Watch the action here.
