I have a couple of reefs at home that are like this all the time but because it’s a reef you need to pull back on some but here with the sand bottom I would take off any wave YEWWWWWWWWW

Anyway! I’ve only been to Puerto once (when I was 15, 1995). It never got like this while I was there (and I likely would not have charged super hard if it had). But there were some times when the swell would be getting close to substantial – all of a sudden things would feel darker out there; more water shifting around; thick lips; mean drops. You could feel it transforming. I can only imagine what it’s like on a swell like the one in this vid.
