Jedaum proposes a weekly instalment of The Pipeline, which aims to be a low-fi take on all the surf happenings that matter. Would you watch? Do you dig? As is the beauty of pilots, the decision lies with the viewer ratings. So, hand ‘em over.
STAB continues to ignore the public sphere in effect on the forums of this site. We aren’t interested in the trivial pandering to the overinflated egos of pro surfers. We are interested in applying a hearty dose of tall poppy syndrome to the effect of deflating and humiliating these wankers jacked up on their own self importance. Bring back the controversy, bring back the criticism, question the structure that places these dicks at its pinnacle. Surely some of you guys attended a sociology lecture or two during your days of varsity

Go back to why I visited Stab in the first place. Posting actual ‘CT pros salaries, sharing controversial insight into the surfing industry, etc. Although I admit I would probably watch “The Pipeline” if it continued.

STAB used to be a legendary mag, now this idea is gayer than snorting lines off Sarge’s crank. What happened to the writing, and cutting edge journalism? What happened to the epic pics? Jed looks like an extra from ‘Deliverance’, and this reeks of a limp keeping up with the Joneses attempt at streaming weekly. Both SURFER’s Week in Surf, and the ASP Weekly Pulse are weak. STAB should be providing a cutting edge piece with humor and bravado.
id watch this on a weekly basis just for the news and footage. id probably break the habit pretty quickly because the host is a cockbag

If Wardo’s videos have taught us anything over the last few weeks it’s that you should do whatever the heck you want, it makes it far more interesting and rad. The radio thing is pretty cool, but you need to do something a bit more for video, rather than just standing in front of a TV. I like STAB btw, no hate here
