Surf…rap?

It’s unlikely Grandmaster Flash and Kool Herc envisioned this when they started spinning plates and toasting beats in the Bronx ghetto circa 1970. Still, with a hook like “jig, jig, whip, bitches don’t trip,” a reference to the Australian art of soft-plastic fishing, it can’t be argued that we’re not at least indigenizing the art form.

This is what happens when the U.S. develops a new movement in music (Rap, Rock, Jazz,Blues etc.) You get all these countries trying to bite our muical genius in the worst way.

They’re obviously not trying to be serious rappers, but its not even funny AND they suck. No flow and their voices sound generic. Go surf and fish.
