Watch: What Surfing Under The Influence Looks Like Starring Asher Pacey
Native flora, breaching whales, twin fins, tubes and crocodiles.
The Rhythm clan take pride in their psychedelic spin on surf culture. In case you hadn’t seen it, their film The Sound Of Change Experience was a wash of colours, overlays and dreamy soundscapes, complimenting the soulful approach of their extended family. Their most recent reel, up in lights above, is actually the second Australiana-themed instalment born from the creative mind of surf artist Nanda Ormond. This time round Nanda’s turned the animation dial to 11; native flora and fauna spin and pulse, whales breach, crocodiles are ridden, the whole thing’s a trip. Asher Pacey is just as pleasing to watch as ever and Neal Purchase Junior cuts a fine line on his self-shaped, uh, cloud…? You’ve bought the ticket, hit play and take the ride.
Bumping heads together, Rhythm and SurfStitch decided that these Aussie-themed prints would look kinda hip wrapped around your body, so got their production teams in motion and released a range for you admire: Here if you’re in Aus and here if you’re in the States.
